My sister has being considered for the 12 month study where she will be taking a lower dose of Taxol or a newer drug that I don't know the name or just the study with no drug..We were wondering if anyone has participated in this and if so how did the study effect your energy level and does most insurances pick this up?? Hello,

If you would like more information about clinical trials, I encourage you to contact the American Cancer Society's National Cancer Information Center. Cancer Information Specialists are available 24 hours a day and can be reached at 1-800-227-2345. You can also use the "Contact ACS" link at the top of this page. They also may be able to give you information on the lower doses of Taxol.

    Take care and be well,

    Dana

I am taking taxol treatments for the next 12 months for maintenance chemotherapy. I have had my first treatment and it was not too bad. My insurance is paying for the treatment. Good Luck.
