Hiya all. Today was my first EVER CT scan.My radiologist even queried why I had never had one!I have always had 3 monthly ultrasounds coupled with blood tests and it was logical I guess that now being 2 years out from chemo the surveillance would come at longer durations(now 6 monthly CT's) with a colonoscopy due in august this year.
Having said all that I am sure most of you remember my concerns posted back in approx. november about surveillance tapering off. Ok..maybe I was paranoid then but now I feel much better. I have a wonderfull GP who never makes me wait for an appointment to hear my results. In fact she phoned me today within 5 hours of my completing the CT instead of me waiting until friday. What a wonderfull lady who is sympathetic to the needs of those who have been thru cancer and have a life of anxiety, as you all know too well.
I am still NED guys n gals!!!!!!!!!!!yipppeee!....and feel a whole lot safer! As always Jen and I thank you so much for being our "brothers and sisters in arms" against this horrid disease. We love you all very sincerely, huggs, Ross and Jen
