Hi JT,
I have had mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the sublingual and submaxillary salivary glands. The first tumor and those salivary glands on the left side were excised in 3/04. Another tumor on the left side was excised last week (3/7/06). My Surgeon wants me to go to an Oncologist (for radiation therapy) when I've healed.0 -
I went through both chemo and radiation at the same time also chemo was only once a week and radiation every day. I was tired alot and it was hard but through my faith in God I got through it . It has been almost three months since treatments and am getting along good.EdsBarb said:Hi if you are still using this page maybe you can help me. My husband is now going through chemo and radiation at the same time. I would like to know how you made out. How were you able to cope going through treatment with a cancer no one knows about

Even though you were tired did you still have problems sleeping through the night? What have the doctors told you about the prognosis or recurrence? In the three months has any of you taste come back?sharonls said:I went through both chemo and radiation at the same time also chemo was only once a week and radiation every day.
