I had the PET and CT scan yesterday go in this afternoon for results not feeling at all postive, since the ultrasound saw two growth on liver plus the back pain and stomach pain. No weight loss but needless to say I may have to deal with liver mets anyone have up to date treatments? I am not sure I am at a cancer center that will do much more then keep me as pain free as possible and let me die. Not sure my medical care will kick in anywhere. Just maybe it will be okay I am three years out. Prayers gals Linda

I know where it is I lost my faith in the health system and sounds like you too have some of the same feelings. I have weight loss and live in pain but have found my way to having that life we are suppose to have after such a battle. I heard it once said that hanging on is sometimes all that we can do, to get through another moment, another day. I have had many moments in my fight when getting out of bed was the best there was.
I am sorry you have to continue on in your battle but somehow there is strength. I too have moments of doubt and then another day breaks. I am learning to live in the moment and not put too much stake on life itself, seeing it for the illusion it truly is. I have learned so much through my fight that I help athletes face their fears and live in the moment. Finally a passion giving way to new meaning of a life. We tend to be able to live outside our little worlds once we embark on our battles with our disease. We walk with our eyes wide open almost too intune with the world around us.
I too will keep you close at heart and know we will be thinking of you.
