Common thread for metastatic cured
A review of all the people in the world who have had metastatic colon cancer and have had no evidence of disease for 5 or more years.
I would like to know what they believe contributed to their success.
I personally know only one person who fits this description, but I understand there are hundreds or thousands. Most of these people are busy living their lives and not reading these pages now.
How can we bring this together to look for a common thread?

Greetings:
Although I very recently was told that I'm in remission, this news no doubt brings a smile to my face. I had crc w/ liver mets, was dx last dec 05, and today I feel teriffic. Here's what I think contributed to my success, my will, positvie attitude, friends and family, my dr and his staff, and a change in diet.
I truely feel blessed and I can only wish that those of you who have this disease one day get the hear the words "remission/NED".

HOORAAAAHHHH.. I love the word remission. I am gonna fight like hell until i hear my doctor says that or cured. Although i am new to having my colon cancer come back I believe it is attitue, prayer, and diet, as much as it is the doctors.BusterBrown said:Greetings:
