Has anyone ever heard of a box that the surgeon inserts under the skin that delivers chemo on a time release system?

Hi: It sounds like you are referring to a "port-o-cath that is inserted underthe skin in the chest and delivers chemo via a portable pump attached through a tube to the port over a day or 2 day period?

or there is a bulb that is worn externally & delivers a measured dose for a period of time.

I have (it's not being used now) a hepatic pump under my skin that was used for about 6 months to deliver chemo to my liver. It worked by my body heat and air pressure system. It was refilled every 2 weeks.
