hi deelyn here,im 33 and was diagnosed with endometrial cancer stage IIIC...ive finished my radiation and chemo and on dec 9 ill be having my brachytherapy...its a 3 session therapy ...i just want to know ...will it hurt?and so on... pls inform me abt brachytherapy ...yes i am scared :-(very scared

Oh man! I just read your post and its too late to reply. I had the same fears and didn't have anyone to talk to. I went through the brachytherapy 3 1/2 years ago. For most people I think they give general anesthetic. I had the rods inserted while awake, which was not much fun. I did yell for most of the 30 minutes, and that was because it did not feel good to have gauze rammed up there. How did it go for you?
