Cryogenic oblation coverage

My insurer, Anthem, declined coverage of my procedure for kidney cancer on August 19, calling it "investigative" and "exploratory." My doctor tells me the procedure -- a cryogenic oblation of a small tumor in my right kidney -- often is covered by insurers. If you had the same procedure and WERE covered, I would very much appreciate hearing from you at davidwilliamjohnson@yahoo.com. The procedure code is 88305, and the ICD9 (diagnosis) is 1890. Thank you for any help you can give me.
