Well if you have been following my mom she had a folfox treatment last week kind of as a last ditch effort since her liver has gotten so bad so fast while on folfiri that didn't work. She has been VERY jaundiced for a week or so and her bilirubin was 16 a few days ago. The onc. told me this past Wed. to watch for my mom to start sleeping a lot and getting confused and possibly becoming unconcious by this weekend. Well about a week and 1/2 after the folfox/Avastin we noticed that this morning she is about 1/2 as yellow and not nearly as tired. Could we have dodged a MAJOR bullet here?? I don't want to get TOO excited as they will be checking her bilirubin on Monday but I have to think that the jaundice fading must be some kind of a good sign?? Let me know what you all think!

I hope and pray that the folfox/avastin is helping her liver- I agree that less jaundice is hopefully a good sign- let us know how the blood work is on Monday-
