Greetings all...
Three hundred and forty one days, 12 cycles of chemo, 5 wks of radiation, 1 colon resection, about 30 doctors appointments, dozens of rolls of toilet paper, and over 100 needles pokes...expensive. Hearing the words remission from your oncologist...priceless!!!
You guys were right, the lung nodule they found on my last ctscan turned out to be nothing!!!
For those of you who arent familiar w/ my story, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer with liver mets on Dec 17th, 2004. . I had a 2.5 cm tumor in my sigmoid colon, and three 1cm lesions on my liver. I did the folfox chemo regiment, 5fu, luceuvorin, and oxilaplatin. I had a resection surgery last May with very good results, and I finished 5wks of radiation the last week of Aug, 05. Its been a long road. I want to thank you all for the support, well wishes, and prayers, the are/were truely appreciated. Even though I dont personally know any of you, I some how feel very connected to you all...
Enjoy your Thanksgiving, God knows I will...God bless.
