a whole new experience

Hello everyone. Recently in my anatomy class, my teacher handed everyone an envelope and inside each person received a diagnosis for a chronic illness, and we were asked to spend the remainder of the semester simulating the experience of having that particular condition. I was "diagnosed" with ovarian cancer. I have been researching the various stages of it, and the treatments available. I understand that this is a very sensitive subject for all, but if any of you are willing to tell me your story, or what you think I should know, I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time, my prayers are with all of you.
