Breast cancer as secondary cancer to childhood Hodgkins?

Looking for other Hodgkins survivor's that have been diagnosed with breast cancer caused by radiation from earlier HD treatment. I have been in remission from HD for 18 years. I found a lump in my breast and will have it biopsied next week. I would be interested in corresponding with anyone in similar circumstances. Sincerely, Beth

Hi, I had hodgkin's at age 18. Radiation to chest. Diagnosed w/breast ca last January 1 month before my 35th birthday. They say it is from the previous radiation. I had bilateral mastectomy w/reconstruction, and 4 rounds of chemo. I finished in June and I feel great. I opted for the mastectomy because my doctors did not want to radiate my chest a 2nd time. Please write me with any questions you have. I am sure I can relate to what you are feeling, like didn't we already have our turn with cancer? Good luck with your biopsy, I look foward to hearing from you.
