I had a cat scan yesterday at the hospital where I had my surgery. First, I don't know how any of you wait for results. I would go insane. Because I work in radiology, I got the disc from my CT and had a doc at work read it today. I remain NED. Yipppeee. I will get the actual results from the surgeon next week. Thanks for the prayers. In 6 mos. when I have the next one, I will ask for prayers again.

How wonderful. NED that is great! AND how lucky you are to be able to get your results so quickly. Waiting is awful for both the patient and the caregiver too. It drives me crazy and then when the results are in that time is a mere memory and the results (which weren't good on our last one) and the reality instead of the waiting. The addage what you don't know won't hurt you is really true but the wait is awful.
God bless you and yours. I will continue to pray for you and all of those on this board. Such a wonderful bunch of folks!

HI Moe : ) !!!!!
So happy for your great results. You have always been such a support to my many posts here on the board. I'm glad I have the oppurtunity to send you a note for your celebratory news. Happy day for you and your loved ones (inclduding the semi-colons)
By the way...I prefer wiating for my result....what I don't like is sitting around the hospital feeling sick from the awful contrast goop they make you drink before the scans. My hosptitals offer to give you same day results but you have to wait around for the radiologist to read them and then wait for whenever you got squeezed to see your oncologist...I'm ready to go after being in the CT tube home and also I would rather that the radiololgias not be rushed in reading my scans! .... just my 2 cents.
Congrats again.....Exhaling a little farther every time!!!
