I too would like to think it is because the need is not so great. Last year I was corresponding on the Colorectal forum on behalf of my mother. I was so amazed at how 'large' it was. Now I notice it is over 20,000. Statistically, I don't know what the rates are regarding ovarian cancer. But we all know it hasn't been wiped out yet. Maybe it's just that not many women know about this site. I think it would be great to get the word out somehow that this is available to everyone - putting brochures at doctor's offices, hospitals, etc. I'm sure there has to be a way.
