Hi there. Your information was very helpful. I do have another question though. Did you have a pleural effusion? My father has a benign pleural effusion so I may have made a mistake on his stage. If you did have an effusion, how was it diagnosed as benign? How big was the tumor in cm?Thanks

    Sorry for taking so long to reply. I am not familiar with a lot of these terms and had to go back to the various reports given to me. On the pleural effusion question, I cound not find any mention of it. According to the PET/CT scan reports taken on 8/11/4 (prior to radiation or chemo treatments to shrink it), I had a 5x8 cm suprahilar mass and is consistent with a malignant tumor.
