I have gradually worsen over the years. My last radiation treatment was in 1994. I have low back pain that at times is bad. Pelvic pain. Right hip pain and leg pain. tingling & numbness of right leg is bad. I was told that I have severe scar tissue in the pelvic area from radiation. It has caused decrease blood flow to legs. I have rectal pain & bleeding and I was told nothing could be done because it is the side effect from radiation. I have a Colostomy because of a past perferated colon from radiation damage. Is anyone having these problems? If so where can I go and get answers?

Hi Hope
My best friend is experiencing similar problems. She also had a colostomy due to radiation scar tissue. Someone here suggested Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment. My friend spoke with her radiation doctor and is going to look into it. She was so happy to have a possible solution! Maybe you can contact your radiation specialist about the damage it caused and possible treatments?
I hope you get help.
:-)
