PET/CT scans tomorrow

Tomorrow morning I get my first scans since starting chemotherapy. I have gone through six cycles of 5FU + Oxaliplatin + Avastin. My CEA count started at 55 and was 4.4 before my last cycle. I'm hoping for good results, but I guess I won't find out anything until meeting with my oncologist next Wednesday.
Chemotherapy treatments seem to get more difficult as I go along. Sure would be nice to know they might soon be over! Please wish me luck!

I wish you the best for the results from your scans. I know how scary it is to wait and wonder what the dr will say. My husband went through 6 months of Camptosar and oxaliplatin. He was very sick throughout. The first time he took the scans, we were so nervous. Everything was clear...Its been 2 years now, and still when we go in for news on the results we're always very nervous. Hang in there...have faith.

It looks like I missed out on wishing you well before your test, so I'll just be praying for excellent scan results. Your CEA count is certainly looking good and hopefully your scans will as well. Let us know.
Hugs,

hello, nocoloner fellow! I will be praying for you. I too will have pet /ct next week. I've been re-staged to 4 and will be given campostar and avastin. I did not get to finish the 5fu/oxaliplatin/leucovorin due to the surgery to remove the rest of the colon. I will talk to you later. Post as soon as you can. blessings, NeelieC
