To all the friends on this network, my husband Mike just lost his battle with colon cancer,on Aug 11th at 43yrs old,he wasn't ready and did not want to leave me and our 4 small kids, how hard is that to live with??? We need you survivors to keep up the great words of encouragement and faith....to you I thank for all those scared lonely nights I sat up just searching for a miracle,( ours didn't come, but I pray for all of you who are also searching, that you find yours.....)that your kind words of love and support helped me get back up in the morning to start the fight again...although it was best for him to go to be at peace, I wish him still here sick, so I could take care of him and my kids could still touch and feel him and know that their daddy was just in the other room...this disease is ripping families apart all over the world, when is enough, enough??
Thank you again, God bless you all and may you fight this #$@*$#%@ monster.......

Dear Beci,
I am so sorry about your husband, Mike. I am sorry your children have lost their father. My heart goes out to you all very much.
I am glad that this board could be of service when you needed it most. We do need it, don't we? .....the sense of community and not feeling alone in this...what can start out as a nightmare or end as one.
My prayers are with you all today.

I am so sorry about your husband beci,I hope and pray that God will lift you up and console you and your children and pull you thru this terrible time. I hope this board will continue to help you and your children thru all this. I cant begin to express my heartbreak of this disease taking another life but I know God knows best its just really hard to see it at times like this. Please continue to talk about it and let others know how you and your children are. You and your children please put your arms around each other and give yourselfs a tremendous hug from all of us here who are with you at heart.........Lynne0

My heart is with you. Mike left you and your family too soon, but consider yourself lucky to have loved him and to have wonderful children with him. He remains alive through all of you.
We cannot understand why this disease strikes some of us, but it does. May peace soon be with you. You and your family will remain with all of us. Thank you for sharing your story with all of us. You are welcome here anytime - it is a lifetime membership.

Oh Beci" I responded to your email and was in tears to read your post- you are so very brave to type those sad sad words of Mike being gone...can you take a deep breath and know how many hearts are praying for you to have strength for your children and for you to find a sense of peace in all of this...
"and he will lift you up on angels wings
and bear you on the breath of dawn
make you shine like the sun
and hold you in the palm of His hand"
Take care Beci
