Hi everyone, I was wondering what you have used as maintenance after finishing chemo. Is anyone taking a Chemo pill and if so what is the name of it? Also what has the success been with it? Thanks Mindy

After I finish my FOLFOX with Avastin next month (hopefully), then I will continue with infusions of Avastin for another year.

    Hi Mindy,

I took Oxaliplatin and Xeloda for 4 months, then the doctor put me on what he called a "maintenance" program with Xeloda and Celebrex. I am expected to be on that combo for 1 to 2 years. Xeloda is the oral chemo. If you have any questions, email me.
