I just woke up and my hand and arm are swollen on the right side , I can't even make a fist. What in the world is this ? My nastectomy was on the left side.My arm is feeling numb-what can I do-my doctors appt isn't until next week,,..Anyone know? If it gets any worse I will have to do something today -just don't know what. I've never experienced swelling like this in my hands or arm before. Please advise

Hello this is Marilyn and my advise to you is put some lotion on your hand and arm that is swollen and message it all the way upward and keep it elevated at night and when you aren't doing any thing . Also when you are not doing anything message it upward it should help also take some fiber like metamusle. Because we have waste in our system

    Hi Marilyn,

Thanks for Your input, most of the swelling is down now,I kept it elevated all day yesterday and massaged it.I still don't know why it did that,it still feels strange kind of numb and tinglybut not as swollen.I've got an appt with my regular Doctor next week -by next month I'll see the rest of the Doctors.

I hope You are doing well -good to hear from You.
    Take care-and- God Bless You!
