My copy of Lance Armstrong's book finally arrived (along with a dozen others--my stash needed a boost) I am now devouring "It's Not About The Bike" and it seems to be alll about his bike but that is understandable since he is world-class. Those guys are in the BEST shape of any athlete in any sport. They have almost god-like endurance, strenghth and stamina. I watched the Tour de France and came away much admiration for the sport and the people in it. For someone like Lance to come back after his weak-as-a-kitten post chemo state and get back into pro cycling is nothing short of a miracle.
Reading reviews on Amazon.com I came across folks that did not like him or the book which is fine--they are entitled to their opinnion. But one reviewer mocked his disease by saying, "What can you expect from a guy with one testicle?" I took exception and reported to the powers that be. Amazon made that review disappear the next day. There is one less **** being given a forum for his ignorance.
Aspaysia, still proud of herself for speaking out.
BTW: Has anyone read his other books? There seem to be rather a lot of them and I am not sure which one to read next.

    Hi Neighbor,

Every Second Counts is good. I actually liked it more then his first book since it deals with survivorship and what that means. I recently reread both books ("It's Not About the Bike and Every Second Counts") and got more out of them the second time.

    Hugs girlfriend!!!!!!
