small cell esophogeal cancer

Help!! My mom has just been diagnosed with small cell carcinoma esophogeal cancer with metastesis to the bone. Does anyone have any experience with this type or esophogeal with bone metastesis?? Any information would be appreciated. My mom is only 61, and grandma to 2 young girls. She's got a lot more livin' to do!!

    sorry, not able to help with small cell esophageal cancer - but wanted to share a great resource or two. Try Cathy's EC cafe www.eccafe.org. Also there are over 1200 people who have been touched by esophageal cancer on a list sponsored by the ACOR. Go to www.acor.org and sign up for the esophageal list group. In addition to being in touch with the group you can access the archives. There is a wealth of information shared in the archives. My best to you and your Mom.
