NexProfiler...Chemo combinations

I've been using the NexProfiler treatment options tool and first it's very confusing all the graphs and stats and second it seems certain combinations of chemo treatments have a higher probability of controlling, reducing, or eliminating the cancer than others.
Does the doctor necessarily have this info and pick the best one or does he just use what he is comfortable with or maybe the drug rep encourages him to use one over another??? Or maybe he only keeps certain ones in stock?
Does anyone else question the choice or maybe I'm being paranoid about it. I of course do not have a "MD" after my name.

    LOTS of research online available so that you can check for yourself what the results of different treatment might be. It's also very important to get an onc that you can talk with and trust that he will hear you and listen to your concerns. I am blessed with a GREAT onc who has involved me in every step of the treatment, plus I checked out the treatment plan he recommended and found that it gives good results for my stage of colon cancer. We're using FOLFOX with Avastin to treat my Stage 3C, then added calcium/magnesium drip to mitigate the neuropathy and added Newlasta to bring white count up. My onc is very proactive in dealing with symptoms and side effects and I have been totally pleased with the entire process.

    I was wondering how are you responding to the treatment? is this one of the best treatment regimen? And what are the main side effects? Thanks!
