Hi. I am a primary care doctor. Your hubby finished chemo in Feb, meaning he may still be immunosuppressed. Go to the hospital and talk to an onc. 102 fever plus lump in the groin, back pain and headache? Go to the hospital.
I had a terrible headache 6 months after I completed my first chemo.... after several weeks and increasing pain, I got an emergent MRI. Turns out I had a clot in my brain that caused a small stroke - never had any symptoms.
GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You need to be more careful because your husbands body has been damaged by all the treatments!!! Please be careful.

Jana, thanks for the advice. We did take a trip to the ER and a CT scan showed a swollen lymph node. We are headed back to the surgeon to find out what's going on. Thanks so much for your reply and guidance.jana11 said:Hi. I am a primary care doctor. Your hubby finished chemo in Feb, meaning he may still be immunosuppressed.
