Greetings,
I start chemo/rad on Tuesday. I'm calling this part of my treatment "Pummel Mode", time to kick the crap out of this disease. My regiment is as follows: Radiation for 5 days a week for 5 weeks, chemo for 4 days straight, off for 25 days, then chemo for 4 more days. My chemo cocktail has changed as well, I'm getting 5fu along with Lucevorin, calcium and magnesium. The cool thing is no more oxilaplatin. I had 10 doses of that stuff and my fingers and feet are numb...I had a cat scan of my abdomen on Tuesday of this week and my doc said everything looked nice and clean:o) Hopefully this will do it...
