I was diagnosed with stage 3 Rectal Cancer in March of 04. Possible 1 node involvement. I had chemoradiation, surgery then 6 more months of chemo. ( I say possible because it looked like yes from the PET scan, but the surgical biopsy was negative)AuthorUnknown said:Thanks Barb as you said im in wait mode right now i should be knowing early next week and then next week thurs im havin the colonoscopy and the one that goes in your throat im so uneasy, but what can i do know but wait, by the way barb what c was yours againi have a pretty bad memory well thx 4 the prayers and ill keep you all posted
Finished with treatments as of a couple of months ago. NED today!
Are you having the endoscope at the same time as the colonoscopy? Haven't had an endoscope, but the colonoscopy is a piece of cake. Go to sleep, sleep, sleeeeeeeppppppp.
I've got one coming up at the end of June.
Have a good night.

I had an Endoscopy done the same day I had the colonoscopy. It is painless, the same as the colonoscopy was for me anyway. Nothing to worry about. I didn't even have a sore throat or anything. He found 2 polyps in my stomach, thankfully they were benign. I wasn't even warned about eating any kind of food afterward. I hope it goes as well for you. Don't worry! Kandy
