I am 24 and was recently diagnosed with Melanoma skin cancer on my chest. After 2 surgeries, I am now going to start the Interferon treatment. I know the main sympton is fatigue, but I want to know to what extent. Will I be able to work, drive, etc. I just don't know what to expect. Can anyone give me some help?

They can be reached at 1-800-227-2345 or by clicking on the "Contact ACS" link at the top of the page.

    Take care and be well,

My sister-in-law was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma. Interferon is one of her options. They told her to expect flu like symptoms for about a week after she got the injections. How are you doing?
