Hi there, I am from the coloc cancer site....going throught my chemo regimen and appreciating all of the great people on my site.
Well, last night , I received the unfortunate news that my young cousin (25) has testicular cancer. One removed and then found tumors of a more aggessive type in the other. CTscans and Lung X-rays today.....
Just thought I would post here...as I am so ignarant abou the condition.
Is testicular cancer a particularily fast spreading cancer? Have the chemo and radiation regimens been pretty successful?
Just new to another cancer.....spend most of my time thinking about my own!
I 'd apprecaite any info.. and I have passed a long the site. I hope he - or a family member joins?
Thanks.
Cheers,
Maura

Hello,
You may want to consider posting on the testicular cancer board also. You may find postings more specific to testicular cancer.
You can also contact the American Cancer Society's National Cancer Information Center. Cancer Information Specialists are available 24 hours a day and may be able to assist you with your questions. They can be reached at 1-800-227-2345 or by clicking on the "Contact ACS" link at the top of the page.
Take care and be well,
