I JUST WANTED TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THE WORDS OF ENCOURAGMENT. I JUST WANT TO START THIS CHEMO AND BEAT THE MONSTER. SOMEONE HAD MENTIONED THAT THEY HAD HAIR LOSS WITH THIS PROTOCOL--WAS WONDERING IF IT JUST THINNED OUT ALOT(THAT IS WHAT HAPPENEND WITH MY LAST KIND OF CHEMO) OR DID IT ALL FALL OUT? NOT THAT THAT IS MY BIG CONCERN JUST WONDERING. IF I HAVE TO LOOOSE MY HAIR TO BE HERE FOR MY SON THAN THAT IS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY. I WILL DEAL WITH ANY SIDE EFFECT TO BEAT THIS MONSTER. THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE

Jenn,
About the hair loss - my hair thinned a lot but after a few months the doctor upped the CPT-11 dose and the rest of my hair fell out. I guess it will depend on your dosage and you. Some lose their hair and others don't. Unfortunately, a wait and see situation.
