Hello Everyone!!!! I went to the surgeon yesterday to get the results of the biopsy. He said that the tumor was benign!!!! The Dr. said that I didn't react to the news as he thought I would. I told him that I am numb. I was preparing myself for the worse as I hadn't been given any good news for almost 2 years. I told him I was very greatful for the news!! I wanted to react but I just couldn't move. I wanted to jump up and hug him but I thought that I would of given him a heart attack. He was very understanding and went out of his way to make sure that I got the answers as which I needed it the most was to know. He said that they want to do another mamogram and biopsy in 6 months and even if it is still negative if it changes in anyway he would like to remove it.

I want to Thank ALL of you guys here for being so supportive towards me!!!!! I know that my husband Bob is doing his own celebration with the big guy!!! Now that I have fulfilled my promises that I made to Bob I have to try and take one day at a time and deal with the fact that Bob isn't here which I don't want to deal with.

Thank You ALL Again for everything and making me feel welcome!!!!! You are a very special group of people!!!!!! If it is ok with all I you - I would like to touch base with you guys from time to time if that is ok.

    Great news Sue! What a relief! We would all love for you to stay in touch. I've been out of treatment for almost 4 years and visit the site daily and write every once in a while. Take care. Enjoy! HUGS!! Cathy

    Hi..I ,too, only visit the site once in awhile. It looks like you have lost your husband.Sorry to hear that you have had to go through breast cancer and the loss of a spouse. However, GREAT NEWS you received that the tumor was benign.;-)
