I never thought I would say this, but I am finally feeling better from my colostomy surgery that was done on 1/14. It was a terrible, horrible ordeal but my life is more normal now. We are leaving in the morning for a much needed warm vacation. We are going on a cruise of the southern Caribbean and then I will return to work when we get back. I am a little nervous about working.
I will chat again when I return.

Maureen,
HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have had such a rough go of it the entire time, so sorry that trend continued.
Hope the vacation is marvelous! Work shouldn't be a problem.. try not to worry. You have DEFINATELY been through the worst, clear sailing from here on out.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Maureen,
Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy! I just got back from a week in Arizona and the warmth, the luxury of being on vacation, and the total break from my ordinary life all were healing. I wish the same for you.
I'm anticipating a return to work soon as well. I'm determined not to let them run me, and to hold my boundaries with stress. We'll see how we both do...
Meanwhile, live it up! -
