You should go online to the Faffsa website (it stands for Free application for federal student aid..) WWW.Faffsa.ed.gov There is money available from the Federal government just for kids like you. You should certainly qualify for a scholorship, or a grant, at the least. They also offer low interest loans. This is a free application. It is a secure site, and you will have to get a PIN number first, wait 3 days for it to come in your e-mail, and then that will enable you to apply on-line (the pin acts as your signature.) I am in the process of submiting my son's application as we speak. Good luck. Also, you will need to have 2004 tax information on hand, i.e. estimated gross income last year. It helps to have your taxes done already. I know if you are in need, you will definitely get help. Don't give up!!! Your mom will be so proud! Please post and let me know how you did! P.s... stay away from any website that says "faffsa.com" that will be a money making site charging you for your application.0

Fafsa is definitely the way to go, but there are only two f's, not three! Never pay for a scholarship finding service - the legit sites are free or low cost. You can get application fees waived at the colleges/universities you are interested in. Talk directly to their admissions people. At most schools, well over 60% of students are on some form of assistance. Keep your grades up and you will be able to go to college.chessie said:You should go online to the Faffsa website (it stands for Free application for federal student aid..)
