Hi all, Just wanted to say thanks for the good replies. I did ask my oncologist if I needed one right b-4 I started chemo & he said "No not at this time" so maybe he is waiting until after chemo treatments. I just wondered IF is was protocol to have one after all this surgery, yes they looked around the bowel etc, while in there, but like you say polyops, etc may not be detected. Well I may ask original surgeon again, then do it after chemo, in like May...It is a coin toss, but as you all say better that than other, reoccurance! Thanks again......Amy
