Continual chemo

I have opted to be on chemo continually for the past three years even though my numbers and CT scans indicate that I am in remission. I have had 40 rounds of taxotere and carboplatin. Has anyone else done this? My blood work is in the normal range and my symptoms are minimal. I just don't schedule anything much for the week after chemo, but since I have no nausea, I can deal with this. I would like to hear from anyone who has done this/. There doesn't seem to be much data on long term effects of doing this. Thanks.
