Hi everyone, My dad is in remission now since April 2004. He is 72 now and goes to the gym 3 days a week. He remains active and feels almost 100%. He is in Florida right now with my mom. He enjoys going to the beach alot.
For anyone who is new to this site my dad had Stage IIA nod. sclerosis. non-bulk. He had 4 cycles of ABVD and 17 radiation treatments. He has aquired neuropathy in his feet and it does not seem to be getting worse. His tastebuds took a few months to come back after the radiation.
I am confident if my dads cancer ever came back, they would put it back in remission. Of course my dad would not be too happy, but at least you have a 2nd chance. We pray his hodgkins never returns. The further away we get from this the better off.
