No New Cancer

I'm pleased to report that my wire biopsy came back benign!!!! I have calcifications in my left breast (had mastectomy on right side) and had a stereotatic then a wire. I've read what has been posted about wires. The doctor quoted mine as a biopsy from Hell! Apparently the area she had to get to and the location of the wires were a problem. I do know I'm still very swollen and sore. My mastectomy was much easier than this. I've never had a lumpectomy so I can't compare the wire to the lumpectomy. But I have a 2" incision. OMG!!! I am so glad for you. That is fantabulous. I had my one year from diagnosis on Sunday. On Feb 4, one year since bilateral mastectomy with tram!! One down and many more to go! I am so glad for you...Love..Jan
