anyone with eye cancer?

I was wondering if there was anyone out there who have had adenoid cystic carcinoma of the lacrimal gland (eye) I had tohave my eye removed, exenteration, because of this.I know it is rare, but I feel it would help to talk to someone who has gone through this. I am facing chemo and radiation in the near future

    You may want to use the search bar at the top of the page and type in the word "eye", "lacrimal" or other relevent terms and see if other members have gone through similar situations. You can then contact them through the internal CSN email system to see if they would like to share their experiences.     Hi, I notices this post was back in 2005 and just wanted to see how are you doing?

    I have been recently diagnosed with the same type of cancer as your. I had the surgery (same type as your) in December last year and I am going through radiation right now.

    First, welcome.  I looked at the post and thought--how did I miss this one, then I saw 2005.  This is an old post, you might want to start a new post to get more response.

    I had my eye removed due to mets.  Exenteration, everything.  Not many of use around here.  Do you know about the online group, Lost eye?  It has been very helpful to me in dealing with eye loss.  Stick around here for wonderful support and join Lost eye for vision specific help.
