I hope everyone has had a good christmas and a happy new year.
I have a question.Has anyone ever had a bone on the middle of the spine to swell and ach like a tooth ache? I thought I pulled something in my back because it feels better now just tender.I went to the normal dr, today and he wants a bone scan done.He says it is better to catsch something fast than wait and see. I have the meaning it is arthritis but he wants it checked. The bad thing is that I hate to go to do tests and money problems start again, I haven`t went back to my oncologist but one time when I finished radiation. I filed bankrupsy after that >>>medical bills 99000.Now I am afraid to go to the dr.I only went today because I wanted some antidepressants..... Shirl

Do what the doctor tells you, Shirl. No one likes to do medical tests, but doctors can't treat you if they don't know what is wrong. Except for a shot, bone scans aren't painful. Tell them about your financial situation and see what they suggest. There has to be a way to pay for your treatment. Do whatever you have to, even if you have to accept help. Good luck!

Definitely check with your doctor's office, cancer center, and hospital to see if there is any funding for which you may qualify.
