New here/but not new to bc
I've recently learned how to use our pc [not a web genuis, but getting by for now. lol!] I hope to get support when I need it, as some of this never really goes away no matter how far out you get. I'd also like to help out when I can here. I'm more then willing to share expierences and any other information that might help make this mess easier for someone.
Take care there/God bless

Hi Annie,
Welcome-- This is the best place I've found to go to for advice ,comfort , a sounding board ,a friend or confidant, while trying to push ahead through the recovery period.I'm beginning to think the recovery process can be a life long one-there are alot of strong ,experienced , caring people on this site.
This is a safe haven for alot of us,sharing our experiences, trials and emotions-trying when possible to help one another or just get through the day.Whatever the case may be ,everyone is welcome.Look forward to reading your post.
God Bless You,
Love

Hi Annie,I am glad you are at this board. You will see that when people can they will answer you. I am not up here all the time but would visit it more if I could . Alot of times I just read what people have written but don`t know what to say about their situation but there is usually someone who (has been there) and who tries to help. Again, I am glad you found a great discussion board....Shirlmssue said:Hi Annie,

Oh, my word. You have been through enough already. Sorry to hear about your husband too. Perhaps this was work related? I am really hoping not to have a recurrence of course but the more I read on this site, it makes me wonder. I'm certainly glad that you are beating it again. Diagnosed in 10/03, one mastectomy 11/03, finished six months of chem in June 04. Hallelujah chorus! Some days I just hate wearing this prothesis. This is so much a mental thing as well as physical. Then, I remember to keep counting my blessings each day that I don't get "bad" bc news. I cringe everytime I hear of a new diagnosis. ugh! onward!delorise said:Helo Annie. I am new here also but not new to bc. 1st time was 10/1994 and 2nd was 10/2004. Had breast removed 11/04 and had 1st chem 12/04. lol to you now and always. Ps Lost my husband 03/03 to asbestos cancer.
