Skin Lesions

MIL is suffering from renal cell carcinoma that has metastasis to the brain. This week she has developed sores on upper thighs. Hospice nurse said, with a great deal of certainty, that the sores are skin lesions. Has anyone else experienced these skin lesions. As one of her caregivers I would really appreciate any input.
