Hi all, just wanted to share some good news for a change. Hubby is home for the holidays!! Docs let him come home yesterday. If all goes well, he can stay home. He has been taking Reglan to regulate his bowel and it finally started working.
He still feels like crap and is on a liquid diet, but at least he is home! He is on TPN and I need to inject the Reglan into his system (lol..I became a nurse overnight!).
Just want to express my appreciation to you all for your support. I will keep you all in my prayers. Have a great holiday!

Hi Linda....That IS good news. Scott may not be feeling his best but he is home and that is a good sign. I hope you can enjoy Christmas as much as possible.
Best wishes to all on the boards. There are many who are going through a difficult time right now and I wish all of those a better 2005.....in fact I wish it for all of us!

Sounds like you got your Christmas wish. Now, Linda, you need to work on getting that turkey, potatoes, pie and dressing stuffed into the blender and made totally liquid for Scott!
Happy Christmas morning to you and your family!

Hi Linda,
That is FANTASTIC!!!! I am sooo happy for you and Scott and your kids that he is home. I have been praying for you each night and wishing with all I have that he would be home for the holidays and that he will be a candidate for the cytoreduction surgery that I also will be undergoing!!!
I am soo pleased and hope that his bowels started to work and I bet things will continue to get better now that he is at home.
Is it this upcoming week that you are meeting with the oncologist?? Keep me posted please as we share a rare (that makes us special!) diagnosis.
You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers every day!!!
Take care,
Lisa0
