My Mom has stage iv lung cancer, inoperable, and has concluded that the best rout for her is to basically treat the pain and "go with it." Now one of her doctors who was involved in the FDA clinical trials is recommending that she start taking Iressa. Anybody have any experience, positive or negative, with this drug? My Mom is most concerned with quality of life, with life extension as a secondary concern.

    Hello,

To get more responses, you may want to consider posting on the lung cancer discussion board also as you may find others who have had experience with this type of treatment.

I hope this has been helpful!
