my mom was dx with lung cancer 6 weeks ago. She is going through radiation and chemo. She is having so much trouble swallowing and nothing seems to help. She has tried the magic mouthwash and that helps only for a few minutes. Even water burns so bad she can't drink it. If anyone has any suggestions we would appreciate your help. Thanks

What worked for me was a morphine patch, along with liquid mophine and the magic mouthwash. The patch gives you a low dose of morphine that helps to take the constant pain away. The liquid morphine should be taken about 5 min. before you eat along with the magic mouthwash. My dose was 2ml of the morphine before meals. It worked for me during my chemo and radiation. Good luck.
