I am interested in talking to anyone who takes Faslodex injections. Why were you prescribed the injections? Do you experience back and joint pain? My dr. and I are in slight disagreement -- we found a microscopic place on my chest that didn't show up on a scan -- I insisted we biopsy it. It is in the skin and I feel it was a residual from earlier surgery that was never removed. He is fearful and changed me from Arimidex to Faslodex but I am experiencing an extreme increase in my arthritis pain. Anyone else have same/similar experience? Thanks for help.

My mom had her first injection a couple of weeks ago. She is stage 4 with mets to her lungs. She was taking Aramasin (sorry about the spelling) for 4 months and her last scan showed the spots on her lungs had grown so they started Faslodex. So far she says she feels great. No bone pain. We are under the impression that this was the next step to try to keep the reoccurence at bay. I hope this helped.
