The Cancer Survivors Network (CSN) is a peer support community for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and friends! CSN is a safe place to connect with others who share your interests and experiences.
Thank you for being a part of the Cancer Survivor Network community. Survivors and caregivers like you have played a unique role in fostering an online environment that encourages connection among those needing support, community, and education. On May 28, the Network will be discontinued. More details are available here . If you have any questions, contact CSNSupportTeam@cancer.org. Thanks again for the support you’ve provided each other over the years. We remain committed to supporting you in other ways throughout your cancer journey.

I am a grad student at Medill in Chicago doing a story on Breast Cancer awareness month. I have interviews set up with health officials and B-roll of the screening process. But I would like to interview someone currently battling the disease, or someone who has battled it in the past, so that I can drive home the importance of screening. If there is someone in the Chicago area that would be willing to speak with me, please let me know. I can be reached anytime at 800/475-0889 and was hoping to do the story next week (wed or thur 10/27 or 10/28).
Thank you.

I live in Algonquin and work in Bensenville. I was diagnosed in May 2003-I have completed my surgeries and chemotherapy-and am now on 5 years of hormonal suppressent therapy-I'd be happy to share my experiences with you-just let me know if I can be of assistance by responding to this note-giving me the best time to call you in the evenings.
