Issues With Doctors

Does anyone find it hard to find a doctor who will take you as a patient once they find out that you are a cancer survivor? Not only that but I've also been having problems getting the doctors I have to take any of my complaints sereasly. I've been having disabling headaches and "pre-seizures" (I didn't make that up a doctor used it) for 3 years now and it took me 4 different doctors till I got one who would actually do anything about it, you know tests, prescribe something, refurre me to a specailist. Does anyone else find this to be true?

No I have not found this a problem. Have u seen a neurologist? or tried doctors in other cities? Im not sure why u are having problems because doctors dont have problems with patients unless they can not treat the problem. All I know is I have not had problems with doctors though many know my case and have wanted to take me on I am satisfied with my doctors.0

No I haven't seen a nuerologist yet, I see him on Friday. I have talked to other doctors in the area. They all have tried to come up with a cause, but they all had different causes and no tests were done to figure out an answer.SwingBridgeTSI said:No I have not found this a problem. if u havent seen a neurologist then the other doctors can not help you. They wont run tests because they are not specialist in the area u need them to be. When you see your neurologist tell him everything that is going on and do not leave a single thing out...SwimCoop said:No I haven't seen a nuerologist yet, I see him on Friday.
