Just a hello to the "chat" people...from Beirut

Sorry to post such an insignificant topic, but just wanted to let you all know I made it home safely from Beirut and my four stints in Iraq. Most recent checkups in US indicate "suspicious" stuff on an MRI and although I am already stationed back overseas again, I will return to the grand ol' US of A in about 6 months to figure out what is going on. Overall feeling good - who couldn't after surviving both BC and "bombs bursting in air"? (and in cars on ground!) I'd love to join you all in chat again, but for some reason I can't get into the room after I switched from dial-up to high speed connection. (the gurus are trying to fix that for me). Anyway, really just wanted to send my love to all and hope everyone is doing well....Kim

NO topic is insignificant here so just wanted to say hi to you and wish you well. Hoping that suspicious MRI turns out to be ok! Keep dodging those bursting bombs and keep your eye on the prize...that being getting safely back home with your loved ones and friends.

Thanks for the reply, Ink. Although my getting home safely is definitely in my wishes and prayers, my "eye on the prize" is always focused on keeping all of you safe back there in America! (Don't take that as too heroic, we military receive a paycheck every month, too, for what we do.) Live, love, laugh......right back to ya! Kim

Hi Kim, it's great to hear from you & glad your surviving it all. Hi to Newboobs too! I never get into chat anymore either, back to work full time and trying to get my life back. Just don't have time. I do try and check postings every once in a while. Stay strong and get yourself home safely. JK
