Marge, I am doing good so far. Yes, my tissue expanders were put in right away, I am not sure when he will start filling them. My chest really hurts still. I can't take vicodin so I was given percocet well that made me vomit after a few days and I am constipated from the codine in it. I have treatment for that though. Darvoset is what I am now taking, but that isn't to strong but little work at a time and it keeps the pressuer down. I still have one drain in until Mon. then I will find out when the expanders will be filled. Thank you for your reply.

Dear Karen,
I am so glad to hear from you. I was told by my plastic surgeon that the discomfort post-op was horrendous. I guess I am not looking forward to that part of reconstruction. The drains are a major pain - actually, they are what caused me the most discomfort post-mastectomy.
I know this is a hard time for you, take care. I am looking forward to reconstruction as I am not finding the protheses much "fun" I only wear them when I am out in public. Right now I am trying to get over myself and get to the gym for at least some treadmill work. I'm having problems with going boobless.
Good luck with your filling and hang in there, it will be worth it.
