systemic mastocytosis diagnosis

I was diagnosed with NHL in January and have undergone chemotherapy. My last bone marrow biopsy noted "systemic mastocytosis." I have an appointment with my doctor in a couple of weeks and will discuss this with him, then. In the meantime, I was wondering if anyone out there knows anything about this. When I read about it on the internet, it doesn't sound good.
