Hi. My Grandma (whom i am very close to) has a "hip" cancer? She has to go in for kemotherapy tomarrow. They just found it. I live across the country from her. Does anyone know what "hip" cancer is? My grandma is 83, what will the kemo do to her? I dont need anything sugar coated, I just wanted to find some answers.
Thank you in advance to anyone who responds!

Don;'t know much, but "hip" cancer could be anything. Need to find out from doctor what type of cancer it is. There are several of us cancer survivors have had various cancers in the "hip" area. You need to find out what kind, what stage of cancer, and what is the prognosis. Sorry this is not much help
